This mental health training course was very insightful, consolidating some of my previous knowledge while also teaching me many new skills. The online platform for accessing resources is fantastic—straightforward and user-friendly. The way the content was delivered was incredibly engaging; I enjoyed the interactive nature, even though it was via an online medium, which can often be challenging. Thank you to Bebba for her time and for providing such a useful and practical course that aligns with MHFA courses.
An excellent two days of insightful, resourceful information from the mental health training sessions, along with such an engaging group sharing personal stories, brought it all to life. It was clear how implementing strategies from the MHFA courses we had learned could help with everyday scenarios and situations.
This mental health training course was great and very interactive. We had a really good group that shared experiences and engaged in helpful discussions. The course provided valuable tools and techniques that are incredibly useful. It also included some theory and facts to explain mental health and what signs to look for. Many resources were signposted to help us continue learning and have as support, especially useful for those interested in MHFA courses.
This intense but invaluable mental health training course is something I will be recommending to my senior team, especially those interested in MHFA courses.
I thoroughly enjoyed this mental health training course; my knowledge has been expanded greatly, and this is due to the excellent course leader. Bebba is very approachable and supportive. I would not hesitate to attend another course ran by her, especially any MHFA courses she offers.
I had a super two days learning through mental health training that equipped me with tools to address various mental health concerns, covering a wide range of topics. I thoroughly enjoyed the MHFA courses.

The mental health training course was very interactive and supportive throughout. It allowed for shared experiences and understanding from other locations and departments. The MHFA courses were well laid out and provided ample time for reflection and additional learning during the sessions. Thank you very much.
I would not hesitate to attend another mental health training course ran by her. The really good learning environment and the tutor created a sense of ease, which helped the group to discuss and participate well, making the MHFA courses effective and engaging.
The instructor was excellent, maintaining a good pace throughout the mental health training. The sessions were interactive and fostered a strong rapport, making the MHFA courses engaging.
I was apprehensive about attending the mental health training course as I didn't know what to expect. I lacked confidence in myself to have a conversation with someone about their mental health and often felt afraid to say the wrong thing. However, by participating in the MHFA courses and being introduced to the ALGEE framework, I am now able to approach discussions about mental health with confidence, whether it's with a patient, friend, or colleague. I've learned that it's 'OK' to ask awkward questions. This experience has provided me with reassurance in my ability to help others who are struggling. Bebba Smithers was an excellent host; she was approachable, helpful, and made the two days interesting and enjoyable, encouraging a lot of interaction within the group.
The mental health training is interactive, well organized, and thought provoking, particularly in the context of MHFA courses.
I won’t teach you to be a therapist, but I will teach you how to listen, reassure & respond, even in a crisis. Through my mental health training, you’ll learn to recognize warning signs of mental ill health and develop the skills and confidence to approach, support, and signpost someone while keeping yourself safe. I'm an experienced MHFA Instructor with excellent feedback.
